Khao Takiab (Monkey Mountain)

Just a short drive from the main town, Khao Takiab is a prominent hill known for its temple and a colossal golden Buddha statue.

Climbing to the top is rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline and the surrounding area. While ascending the hill, visitors can interact with the numerous monkeys that inhabit the area, lending the hill its nickname. The temple on the hill, Wat Khao Lad, is a spiritual center for many locals and offers a serene place for meditation and reflection.
